COVID-19 meant that we could not get out to the island to experience all it’s wonder for ourselves and this really did feel like a big obstacle as we all enthusiastically made a start on this exciting project. The only solution was to try and bring some of the island to our virtual TEAMS meeting. And we did just that with island volunteer Sarah Williams. Sarah with her immense passion for the island truly opened our eyes and ears to the island’s sounds, colours and personality. It was a wonderful meeting which left us all longing to visit this magical place. At the same time, in the midst of all these COVID restrictions, it enabled us as a team to build up a really good feel for the island without ever being there.
