From flowchart to sketch

Using a ‘data dashboard’ set-up as the foundation, we start to play around with the idea of a physical dashboard….where the data can have its own physical and more meaningful presence. Being an island, water is the centre of everything and likewise, the water narrative is what ties all components of this physical dashboard experience together. Also, we feel that the anthropogenic interaction, is important here. Through user interaction, we want to visitor to take ownership of caring for their environment. We are currently exploring how interaction can be used to portray their current actions and behaviours and the impact of these (and changing these) on Flatholm & environment (present and future).
