Meeting with the CCC Waste Strategy Officer

Thank you to Danielle Williams (CCC Waste Strategy Officer) who joined us this week for our team meeting. Danielle filled in a number of gaps in our thinking whilst also got us thinking about our PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY when it comes to recycling. Imagine 30% of our black bags are still filled with food waste that could be recycled. The knock-on effect of this, is that the seagulls are leaving the island to come into the city to attack bin bags for the food. Ultimately, the non-recycled food is also adding to the increase in C02 emissions and is having a negative on our environment. Danielle shared with us a very interesting website: My recycling in Wales
